Pat Cummins did not give Josh Hazlewood enough overs in Australia's win over South Africa in the World Cup semi-final.

Hazlewood took 2/12 off eight overs, but was not used again.

Adam Zampa was brought on in the middle overs, despite being hit out of the attack by David Miller.

Miller went on to score a brilliant 101 off 116 balls.

Many experts, including Ricky Ponting and Shane Watson, were surprised by Cummins' decision to use Zampa instead of Hazlewood.

Hazlewood finished with 2/21, while Cummins got Australia over the line with 16 balls to spare.

Travis Head was named man of the match for Australia.

For South Africa, it was just another heartbreak.
